LSI Staffing is HIRING a top loader or container stacker in La Porte Texas $18.00 per hour Must have experience! 12 hour shift lots of overtime 6 days per week. 

Day Shift 6AM TO 6PM 6  days per week 
Nigth Shift 6PM to 6AM 6 days per week 

Top Loader / Container Stacker Operator Job Description

Position Title: Top Loader / Container Stacker Operator

Job Summary:
The Top Loader (Container Stacker) Operator is responsible for safely operating heavy equipment used to lift, move, stack, load, and unload shipping containers within a warehouse, container yard, port, or distribution facility. The operator must follow all safety procedures while maintaining productivity and accuracy in container handling operations.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

• Operate a Top Loader, Container Stacker, or Heavy Lift Forklift to move shipping containers safely and efficiently.
• Load, unload, stack, and relocate containers within the yard or warehouse.
• Inspect equipment before and after each shift and report any mechanical issues.
• Verify container numbers and locations to ensure inventory accuracy.
• Transport containers to designated staging, loading, and storage areas.
• Follow all OSHA, company, and customer safety regulations.
• Perform routine housekeeping and maintain a clean work area.
• Assist with yard organization and container inventory management.
• Communicate effectively with supervisors, dispatchers, and yard personnel.
• Complete required paperwork and equipment inspection reports.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience operating a Top Loader, Reach Stacker, Container Handler, or Heavy Forklift required.
• Ability to safely handle loaded and empty shipping containers.
• Knowledge of container yard operations and safety procedures.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced outdoor environment.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. when necessary.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
• Reliable transportation and attendance.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Valid driver's license preferred.
• Must pass a drug screen and background check (if required by customer).
• Ability to work overtime, weekends, and flexible schedules as needed.
• Experience with shipping, receiving, logistics, or port operations is a plus.

Working Conditions:

• Outdoor work environment exposed to varying weather conditions.
• Frequent climbing in and out of equipment.
• Standing, walking, bending, and sitting for extended periods.
• Exposure to noise, dust, and heavy equipment traffic.
